Received a lovely little package in the post from a fellow blogger from Dunedin, Little Minx ~ I really recommend that you look at her blog as she does some wonderful creations including bags, purses, and other fabric delights and I've just got mine ~ the fabric caught my eye and it was a must~have, it will be great for all my art pens and other small general craft stuff.

Recently I've been getting into the "creative zone" and have all these different ideas swurling around in my head as to what to sew . . . . I've really been getting into stitching (I call it stitching as I don't think I can really call it proper embroidery) and along with being inspired by different patterns and images, I've come up with various thoughts as to how I can use them in my creative work . . . . I also want to get into felting again, ie. flower brooches and bags . . . . alas, so little time . . . .

I discovered a greeting card that I made for a friend ~ a fine~line drawing on the front of her "quirky" kitchen and on the back she has one of her favourite easy~snack recipes which I will share:~
Alannah's Blue Cheese Toasties:~Wedge of Blue Cheese ~ 60 grams softened Butter - 3 Tablespoons Pinenuts ~ 2 Tablespoons Parmesan ~ 3 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley ~Vogels Bread ~ Cream Cheese to make it further! (optional).
Mash blue cheese and butter and mix in remaining ingredients. Spread on Vogels (bread). Bake 12 minutes (approx.) Cut into quarters and serve with drinks! Sounds simply delicious hey!

Just thought would put some more pictures up of the east~coast of the South Island heading down to Christchurch . . . . I just love the Kaikoura Coast, the smell of the pacific sea is so refreshing and I always like to have a stop and say "Gidday" to the coast locals . . . . (smiling) . . . .

When I was down at my sisters in Christchurch I discovered that she had a drawing up on her wall that I did a number of years ago (which I had forgotten about) . . . . I've taken a copy of it, to add to my portfolio and it's going to be added to my favourite folder ~ I like the foliage of the trees, so much detail (I obviously was abit more patient back in the time LOL) . . . .
