Wow, I can't believe it's nearing the end of 2011 . . . . and what a year it's been! I feel like I've achieved pretty much all the goals that I've set and some more, which is amazing for me! The above is taken from the Nostalgic Nelson 2011 Calendar and the house is one that I simply adore ~ wouldn't mind living there myself!

I had a fab day last Saturday at the Ka Pie Market . . . . a friend had arranged to have a stall, so went along and showed off some of me crafty creations I had made recently and had loads of great feedback . . . . I have to say I enjoyed the laid~back atmosphere, good company and delicious food that was on offer ~ the Carrot and Cream Cheese Cake was simply devine!

I have to say that the weather here at the moment has been rather nice ~ we've had cool sunny days and because of the extended hours in the evening it means I can go out and take a walk (I'm trying to get abit fitter, you see) . . . . here's some photo's I've taken recently looking over our Nelson Beach looking out to Tasman Bay . . . .

I have to say that I am enjoying the warmer days that we are starting to get and it also means new growth . . . . plenty of blossum on the plum tree in the back yard.

Just put together the "South Island" Calendar ~ Pen 'n' Ink drawings of character houses from the three main towns of the Mainland (Christchurch, Dunedin, Nelson) . . . . both new and older drawings are included ~ some of my favourites are featured in this "Special Occasion" Calendar (which can be used for "any year") . . . . check out Little Minx's "Kindness" post . . . .

Received a lovely little package in the post from a fellow blogger from Dunedin, Little Minx ~ I really recommend that you look at her blog as she does some wonderful creations including bags, purses, and other fabric delights and I've just got mine ~ the fabric caught my eye and it was a must~have, it will be great for all my art pens and other small general craft stuff.

Recently I've been getting into the "creative zone" and have all these different ideas swurling around in my head as to what to sew . . . . I've really been getting into stitching (I call it stitching as I don't think I can really call it proper embroidery) and along with being inspired by different patterns and images, I've come up with various thoughts as to how I can use them in my creative work . . . . I also want to get into felting again, ie. flower brooches and bags . . . . alas, so little time . . . .
